Using the Web-Based Version

You can log in to ConnectPOS directly from your web browser.

Step 1: Visit retail.connectpos.com.

Step 2: Enter your Username and Password provided in your setup email.

Step 3: Click Login to access your store.

If you forget your password, click Forgot Password? and follow the instructions in the reset email.

Note: After your account is set up, you will receive an email containing your username and a link to set your password. Once your password is created, you can log in at any time through your browser.

Using the App-Based Version (Recommended)

You can also log in to ConnectPOS by using the ConnectPOS app on your preferred device.

• iOS (iPad/iPhone): Download the ConnectPOS app from the Apple App Store
• Android: Download the ConnectPOS app from the Google Play Store
• Windows/Mac: Download the desktop version from our Download Page

To log in:
Step 1: Open the ConnectPOS app you downloaded.
Step 2: Enter your Username and Password provided in your setup email.
Step 3: Tap Login to access your store.

If you forget your password, tap Forgot Password? on the login screen and follow the instructions in the reset email.
After logging in, your store’s products, customers, and orders will be automatically synced to the POS system.

Step 1: Access your server and navigate to your Magento 2 source code root directory using a command line terminal (e.g. Linux terminal or Putty on Windows). For example, if your Magento 2 directory is in /var/www/html, please navigate to that location on your server.

Step 2: Execute the following command to download the install script to your server. In case you are going to update ConnectPOS and you already have this install script on your server, please remove and re-download it to get the latest version:

curl --location --request GET 'https://raw.githubusercontent.com/devconnectpos/extensions/master/spos-install.sh' --header 'Authorization: Bearer ghp_lQK6iaLLdpqYlP46Zxxxx' -o install.sh && chmod +x install.sh

Optional:
If you have different PHP versions installed on your server, open the install.sh file and replace the correct path to your PHP runtime on the 2nd line of the script that begins with PHP_PATH=.
Example: If your default PHP version is 5.3, and your server has PHP 7.3 installed in /opt/plesk/php/7.3/bin/php, edit the line accordingly.

Step 3: Provide permission to execute the install.sh file by typing:

chmod +x install.sh

Step 4: Execute install.sh to perform the installation:

bash install.sh
or
./install.sh

Step 5: The installation is complete when you see the ConnectPOS logo appear in your command line console.

Step 6: Log in to Magento Admin > Menu > System > Integrations > Add New integration.

Step 7: In Integration Info tab, fill in:

• Name: ConnectPOS
• Email: Enter your Magento email
• Your Password: Enter your Magento user password

Step 8: In API tab, switch Resource Access to All, then Save.

Step 9: Locate the integration (ConnectPOS) and click Activate.

Step 10: Click Allow.

Step 11: Copy the Access Token displayed and click Done.

Step 12: Sign in with your ConnectPOS credential at https://me.connectpos.com/ > Account > License > View Detail.

Step 13: Scroll down, click New URL, and enter the details. In the third field Access Token, paste the token obtained from Magento Admin. Click Save.

REMEMBER TO CHOOSE “EXTENSION” (DO NOT CHOOSE “NO EXTENSION”).

Step 14: Contact ConnectPOS support to approve your store’s URL.

Steps for Execution

Step 1: Log in to your BigCommerce account.

Step 2: From the side-menu, click on Apps > App Marketplace > Discover apps in the App Marketplace

Step 3: Search for ConnectPOS then click on the ConnectPOS logo to view the detail. You can also go to ConnectPOS on BigCommerce Marketplace

Step 4: Click on Get this app

Step 5: The installation process will now begin.

Step 6: After installing successfully, click Login Now.

Step 7: You will be logged in to ConnectPOS. From here, you can start creating new outlets/ registers and creating orders for your stores.

Please follow these steps to install the ConnectPOS plugin on your WooCommerce store:

• Login to your WooCommerce admin store
• Navigate to Plugins > Add New.
• Search for the plugin using the keyword: “connectpos“.
• Click on Install Now

• Wait for installation.
• Click on Activate to finish installing the plugin.

Step 2: Generate REST API keys

Before adding a WooCommerce store to your ConnectPOS account, please follow these steps:

• Login to your WooCommerce/ WordPress admin store.
• Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings from your navigation bar.
• Navigate to Advanced > REST API
• Click on Add Key

• Input a description for this key.
• Select an user.
• Set permissions’ option to Read/Write.

• Click Generate API key to generate the API key.
• Consumer key and consumer secret will be generated. Please remember to make a copy before closing this page, you won’t be able to view those keys again.

Step 3: Adding WooCommerce store to your ConnectPOS account

To use those API keys and add a WooCommerce store to your ConnectPOS account, please follow these steps:

• Open the account management site for ConnectPOS here.
• Login using your ConnectPOS account.
• Open the Side Menu, navigate to Account > License.
• Click View Detail on “Smart POS” product row.

• From the General tab, click New URL.
• A popup will appear:
  • Input your WooCommerce/ WordPress URL.
  • Select eCommerce type as WooCommerce.
  • Input your Consumer Key.
  • Input your Consumer Secret.
• Once finish, click Save.

• The WooCommerce store will be assigned to your ConnectPOS account after saving.
