Before setting up in POS, please make sure that you already set up Braintree in your BigCommerce eCommerce store.

Then in POS system, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Go to POS App > Settings > Integrated Payment > Enable “BrainTree”

Step 2: Get information to fill in the setting.

To get the key information, please go to your Brain Tree account >> Settings >> Choose API >> Generate New API Key.

After that, you can view all needed information (marked as red below). Please note that in this guideline, we are using the Sandbox account, so the information showing up on the screenshot is Sandbox. If you set up your official account, you need to choose Production.

Step 3: Fill in all needed information to the setting in ConnectPOS.

Step 4: Save and create a test order with BrainTree.

Step 1: Open App Cloud Pay Display on your Clover Device.

Step 2: Go to Settings > Integrated payments > Clover > Enter all information fields as below:

  • Token: Account & Setup >>  API Tokens
  • Device ID: Account & Setup >> Devices >> Select a device >> Copy ID in URL.
  • Merchant ID: Account & Setup >> Merchants.

Step 3: Once finish, click Save.

Customers can try to checkout with this payment method to check whether it works

Note:
- In case there are any issues, please check whether your Clover device is connected to the internet (via Wifi or Ethernet) or not. You can check it: From Clover Home Screen > Diagnosis App > Check Connection Status.
- In addition, please ensure that, when you go to the Clover admin site, Account & Setup > API token > Permissions > All permissions are enabled.

Step 1: Follow this link to sign in your Square account

Step 2: Once you have signned in, click on Account > Developer Dashboard > Click the plus sign to add and fill in information to create an application for ConnectPOS

Step 3: In the Credentials menu, switch to Production. Copy the Production Access Token for later use

Step 4: Go to the article Connect Square Terminal with Virtual Terminal for In-Person Payments > Follow the Connect Square Terminal to Virtual Terminal’s steps to enable your Square Terminal with the name “ConnectPOS”

Step 5: Go to this site, switch to Production. Select Devices and Create device code > Select the Access token > Choose product_type, location_id, fill in the name (optional) and select idempotency_key > Generate > Run.

Note: In the above image, the code in the lower left box is shown, however, this is not the device_id.

Step 6: Select Devices and List device codes > Select the Access token > Choose location_id (optional), product_type and status: PAIRED > Hit Run > Copy the device_id shows in the lower left box.

Step 7: Open ConnectPOS app, access the register. Click on Menu > Settings > Payments > Square

Step 8: Configure the payment:

  • Enable: Whether to use Square for the current outlet
  • Allow amount tendered: Whether to allow partial payment for this payment method
  • Select type device: Terminal or Card reader
  • Auth Code: Fill in the previous Production Access Token Hit Save

Step 9: Configure the payment (continued): Access Square again

  • Device ID: Fill in the previous device_id
  • Select gateway: Select Production

Step 10: Once finish, click Save.

Using ConnectPOS on iPad:

Before you start making sale with iZettle, you need to connect the card reader with iPad via Bluetooth.

To connect your iZettle card reader with the iPad:

  • Enable Bluetooth on your iPad.
  • Turn your iZettle device on, tap and hold the “V” button.
  • On your iPad, select the device on the Bluetooth list.
  • On your iZettle terminal, confirm connecting to iPad.
  • After these steps, your iZettle device will be connected to your iPad.

Making Sales with iZettle:

  • To start making sales with iZettle, please follow these steps:
  • Enable “iZettle” payment in your setting: SETTING > POS SETTING > PAYMENT.
  • Open Sell Screen. Add items to cart then select your customer.
  • Tap on “Pay“, proceed to Payment screen.
  • Select “iZettle” payment.
  • Click on “Complete“.
  • Input your iZettle account then login.

This step will be required once.

Your card reader will notify you to Tap / Insert Card.

Using ConnectPOS on Windows:

Step 1: Follow this Drive link to request access using your Android device. After that, please notify us so we can grant you access permission.

Step 2: Once you have got access to the app, click Download > Download anyway > Open > Install.

Note: Please turn on Unknown Sources in your device’s settings to allow the installation.

Step 3: Open the app and you will see Connector ID as in the photo below.

Note: Please let the Connector app runs on the background.

Step 4: On your PC, open Menu > Settings > POS settings > Integrated Payment, and click on iZettle or create a new iZettle payment. After that, and input the Connector ID on the Connector app > Save.

Step 5: Refresh the site and create a test order. In checkout screen, choose iZettle > Pay. After seeing the pop-up log into iZettle on your Android device, fill in your iZettle account credentials.

Note: You only need to log in once.

Step 6: Connect the Android device to the card reader.

Note: Make sure Bluetooth and Location are enabled when using the app.

Step 1: Connect the supplied charging cable to the reader and charge the device for a minimum of two hours prior to its initial use. Please ensure that only the charging cable provided in the reader package is used.

Step 2: Open the ConnectPOS application, then navigate to Settings > Integrated Payment > Authorize.net. Enable the Allow Amount Tendered option.

If Authorize.net is set as your default payment method, you may also select the Prioritize This Payment Method option.

Step 3:

  • Terminal/Card Reader Solution: Disable “Online Solution/In-app Solution” > Input “API Login Key” and “Transaction Key” > Select Gateway (Sandbox or Live” > Authorization w/ Auto Capture > Save.
  • Online solution (input card information manually): Turn on “Online Solution/In-app Solution” > Save.

Then, back to the Sell Screen and create an order, during Checkout page > Select Authorize.net as the payment method > login your Authorize.net account. 

This account will be saved locally on your device. If you login to another device, you need to relogin.

Step 1: Connect the supplied charging cable to the reader and charge the device for a minimum of two hours prior to its initial use. Please ensure that only the charging cable provided in the reader package is used.

Step 2: Open the ConnectPOS application, then navigate to Settings > Integrated Payment > Stripe. Enable the Allow Amount Tendered option.

If Stripe is set as your default payment method, you may also select the Prioritize This Payment Method option.

Step 3: Select Payment Type

With Stripe payment method, ConnectPOS app support 3 payment types, which are:

  • Online Solution
  • Terminal Solution
  • Bluetooth Solution

Each payment type shall be configured as below:

  • Online Solution
    • Select Online solution from the Drop down
    • Input Secret Key and Public Key. You can take this information from your Stripe Admin.
  • Terminal Solution:

Secret Key: taken from Stripe Admin account
Terminal Id: Go to your Stripe Account > Terminal > Click on your device > Copy Reader ID > Terminal ID.

  • Bluetooth Solution:

Input Secret Key and Public Key > Get Location > Select Location showing up > Connect Reader.

Please make sure your readers are assigned to your Location which is set up on your Stripe account.

The first time connecting, it may take longer. Kindly keep patience until it’s connected.

Step 4: Once finish, click Save.

Please create a test order to check whether Stripe is successfully integrated.
